Pretty and dainty, which is what we expect of fairies.
I have spent quite a few hours playing with the fairy dot blocks, and now have a library of 200 in which the basic floral has been twisted and tuned every which way. Once I put them into a quilt layout I can use something I designed as a border block turned inside out to be part of the diagonal border within the overall design.
I wonder how many virtual quilt designs could be made from the 200 blocks, and that is without using a wider mix of fabrics so ...

It would be fun to be able to arrange a garden bed following some of the designs in this project file!
I love the layout above, but have no hope of reproducing it in the garden.
Love the second design too, especially the centre block.
For the gardeners out there, Brunsvigias are a South African bulb, love hot and dry conditions, and once established the flower comes before the foliage … but it takes about ten years for the first flower to make an appearance.
Thank goodness the foliage appears each year to remind us that the bulbs are there, and ...

Very pretty.
Note the pale pink border fabric … if I was using that fabric in a real quilt border I would cut it so that the pattern looked like the top and bottom borders … or the side borders.
In Electric Quilt all I had to do was click a couple of times to get the fabric the right way round.

Love leadlight and stained glass windows and I think these designs would look great on a bed, or hanging on a wall.
I tried to pick a favourite, but it was a dead heat between these two.

‘Tis the season for wattles to flower, and hay fever to spread across the nation.
Love the flowers, the sneezing not so much.
However, as inspiration for quilts they are just that, inspirational, and in this form they don’t make me sneeze.
